Not as good as the original Bridget Jones books. Character has arrested development and makes fart jokes with her "boy toy" (way younger) boyfriend. Still, funny a few times.

Poor Bridget, she's an accident waiting to happen. I just loved this one. Having seen the film , Bridget Jones' Baby, I was delighted to find that Ms Fielding had written a sequel. The film version could only be hilarious.

I'm a huge Bridget Jones fan (who isn't ?) and when I first read the summary for this book, I couldn't see how it could still be enjoyable. I tried it anyway and it's great! So sad at parts but had to laugh out loud at others.

The plot is silly, but Fielding had me laughing many times.

It was average. Got better towards the end. I do not want to reveal the big spoiler but I will just say that when I found out I wanted to put it down but I forced myself to keep reading and I quite enjoyed it. Helen really just brings a…

Fun and games with Bridget, single again and up to her old tricks.

Bridget Jones is back and single again! Her husband, Mark Darcy, passed away 5 years earlier, and she is raising their two children alone in London. As a single mom, Bridget has to deal with vomit, head lice, and other kid-related…

Though I had seen all the Bridget Jones films, I had never read one of Helen Fielding's books. I expected this book to be a light fluffy read. I wasn't prepared for the story to bring me to tears in several places. I really enjoyed this…

A very interesting sequel--set twenty years after the first two books. It is hilarious while also sensitively dealing with grief. I really enjoyed it, although I could relate more to and still prefer the first Bridget Jones book.

I love the Bridget Jones books, so this is a biased review. I really enjoyed this book. Despite the book's length, Fielding's writing style leads to a fast read. V. funny, and light.

I could not enjoy this book at all. Part of the intrigue of the first two books was Bridget Jones as a singleton and her relationship with Mark Darcy. Taking him out of the equation makes the book fall flat.

I found this book to be the most enjoyable of the series. I laughed quite a bit. I would like to see it become a movie, although I would miss Colin Firth. Maybe they could have him in flashbacks.

A fun read, loved this series. It was like connecting with a old friend I had not seen/spoken to in awhile.

A fun read. Doesn't pretend to be great literature, folks. Relax and enjoy.

This is a laugh-out-loud book. Thoroughly enjoyable.....feels like one shouldn't be so caught up in it but she pulled me in. Don't we all deserve an uplifting read now and again?

Waste of time. The protagonist behaves like a teenager instead of her real age. The book is unnecessarily long and it was very difficult to keep reading it. I read it thinking it might get interesting later, but nope. Very disappointed…

This was an easy read as there was nothing substantial to the story. After the first book Ms. Jones' quirks, misadventures, etc goes from cute to annoying. It would have been nice to see Ms. Jones be more put together especially since…

This was just what I needed! Light, easy read that kept me laughing. I can see where it might not appeal to everyone.

I actually felt this was the strongest in the series. Silly but sad and funny at same time. Funnily enough, I didn't like the resolution. That relationship felt so thin.

So funny I find myself laughing out loud. Just like I did with the first two Bridget Jones books. The author's just got a great talent for goofiness and I love it.

It might be that I have to give it more time, but after thoroughly enjoying the first two books in the series I found that the appeal of 51-year-old Bridget's daffy brand of anxiety has worn thin. She's not entertaining so much as…

So glad that I ignored all the nasty reviews of this book. I loved getting reacquainted with Bridget and all of her foibles. A humourous yet poignant book that I couldn’t put down.

After a bit of a slow start to the book, Bridget (and Helen Fielding) return in fine form, with the same funny, self-depreciating, occasionally tender, somewhat madcap perspective on modern life that made the first Bridget Jones novel so…

I didn't think I would enjoy this book after the news in the media that Mark Darcy had died. I'm glad I still gave it a chance; it was like reconnecting with an old friend. I really did miss Bridget and this book did not disappoint!
