Highly recommend this really funny and very warm movie from New Zealand. Early Taika Waititi work and it's everything he's best at-taking on a hard topic with humor and heart, showing up in a hilarious and memorable cameo, and having a…

It was highly recommended to me and usually I don't care for this type of topic. As skeptic as I was, I pleasantly surprised to find this movie very entertaining and the acting, I thought, was spot on.

Taika Waititi's films are so dependably wonderful!
Is there anything this guy cannot do?
He can act. He can write. He can direct. He always makes me truly care about all of his characters.
AND he can make me laugh!!

The kid at the center of the movie nagged at me until my wife…

The theme of a young boy in difficult circumstances runs through Taika Waititi’s films (Boy, Jojo Rabbit). The humour may be quirky, but his movies never shy away from loss and tragedy. The stunning beauty of the New Zealand bush country…

You don't have to be a teen to watch this incredibly good, entertaining movie. It's completely suitable for adults who have a well-developed sense of humor. The young actor is very talented. Quite a few copies are available - watch it,…
Listed under dark comedy, this film, has a lot of laughs in it.
A bit different you could say. Set in New Zealand, the accents, the
scenery, the characters, the film offers a few hours of distraction,
and fun. Not too real, but…
