Add a CommentThis novel fascinated me from the beginning to the end. It is not what one would call easy reading. This novel took me three years to read. Despite that, I was intrigued by all the historical details mentioned. I learned of details concerning bullfighting and bullfighters that I never knew existed. James Michener really did his research on this one.
