Add a CommentExceptional portrayal of four centuries of history. Characters in this novel well developed. Hated for this to end
Two of the three copies of Michener's Texas are only copies of half of the book. Bar code 31978094554896 is volume 1. 615 pages. The two volumes were originally at Beech Grove Public library and are a two volume book club edition published by Random House. The third copy supposedly at Central Library is apparently missing at this time.
A great book by the way. I read it many year ago an now reading again. Best to read the two volume set in order.
Michener was one of our greatest writers, revealing history in a way no textbook could.
