Add a CommentThis would make a great read-aloud for Grade 3-5 classrooms when discussing war, especially around Remembrance Day. A good coming-of-age story as young Paolo becomes involved in the Resistance.
This book was incredible! Must read for anyone 9-14 years old. Even if you aren't in that age range youll still enjoy it. Very descriptive and you can so easily imagine the scenes
I loved this book! It was emotional and exciting and I wish there was a sequel or it was longer.

Lovely book about a 13-year-old boy and his family during the German occupation of Italy. I only wished it was a little more longer, because it was so good!
