Unfortunately Shanna the She-Devil ruined this for me. Rather, it was Wolverine's perspective which pulled me from the wonderful art.
Wolverine is constantly building up her skill (to the point I was annoyed) and then suddenly she turns into a damsel in distress. Instead of demonstrating how tough their enemies were, how overpowered Wolverine is the transition just seemed to make his complements seem false.
Also (because he was preoccupied) there was less Wolverine humor than other books in this series.

Excellent read through out, awesome ink with one of the best & funniest endings I've read... in a long time anyway. My only complaint would be it is way too short, leaves the reader wanting more. Hate that. This one & Old Man Logan are for sure on my top 10 list of favorite Wolverine graphic novels. Guest stars Hulk, She Devil & Manthing lost in the Savage Land. I fuckin love that place !
