Add a CommentNot her best one. But it's still intersting. It's my first reading novel of Mary's.I'm big fan of her now.
An OK read but I found my mind drifting as I read. Many characters and they do eventually come together for a reason but overall I could have skipped reading this one. Just didn't hold enough interest for me.
This is a fun, easy read about a troubled family. I always love Mary Higgins Clark books and this one did not disappoint!
I couldn't put this book down, I thoroughly enjoyed it.
"You're not my Daddy!" a simple statement from a comatose patient unlocks the key to this suspense thriller. Mary Higgins Clark brings the readers mind to stretch their imagination until the final stretch. Love this author!!!! She's unbeatable in her style. An exercise of the mind!!!
With this latest winter storm this was a great book to enjoy while being confined at home!. Like others I did figure out quite early who the killer was, that was a surprise for her books. But I liked the story and the characters and how she always ties all the small stories together at the end.
I normally love mary higgins clark.I was very disappointed in this book however. I knew halfway through the book who the killer was. I looked the coules in the book and the rest was horrible.
The storyline was okay - typical for Clark. Disappointing to realize that either Clark's writing style has gone downhill or I was not perceptive enough before to realize how much I don't care for it. Maybe it's because there are other authors out there that have captivated me who write so well.
Mary Higgins Clark's books are always good for a quick read and this one is no exception. The plot is good although I found it pretty easy to figure out who the bad guy was. Also thought the ending tied up everything a little too neatly.
Such a good story. Always read a Mary Higgins Clark!
