Caymen has always been taught by her mother to never trust rich kids. She has always kept her mother’s mantra close at heart and was more cautious around the rich. However, once Caymen met Xander, she had a lot to reconsider. Although he was the richest of the rich, over time he proved himself to be more human and genuine than what she was expecting. As the two continue to fall for each other, new problems start to arise, forcing Carmen to question whether or not her mother was right. This was a really sweet love story between two very different yet similar characters. They were all very likable and learned many lessons throughout the story. Their romance was beautifully written that would engage the audience. Although the “rich meets poor and falls in love” trope is often used and isn’t too unique, Kasie West managed to spin it into something different that most readers would enjoy. Rating:4.5/5

This was the first Kasie West novel I ever read, and I fell in love. This was the cheesy love story I needed when I was reading it. It’s just the feel good romance with the perfectly imperfect characters that help each other understand themselves. Their relationship was just so cute! I loved West’s take on the rich boy poor girl clique. Because Caymen had been brainwashed to believe all rich are bad, I feel she had been further affected when she met Xander. I love Xander. Not only because he’s super nice and also probably super nice to look at, but because he’s extremely understanding. I really enjoyed the family aspects West included in this story. I feel you don’t really get to see that too much family related issues in pure romance novels. But I loved how the family feature in this novel flowed through the story, but also affected their relationship. This novel is perfect to read if you just want a light summer story or quick read. For all romance lovers, I’m sure you’ll enjoy this book as much as I did, and recommend looking into other Kasie West novels as well!

Rolled my eyes and groaned so many times near the ending. Slow book in general and nothing really happens. A lot of new information and problems near the end and Caymen wouldn't stop assuming things near the end either.

great book

I was in the mood for a light romance and this hit the spot. For a young adult (YA) genre book the worst the characters do is kiss and hold hands. Which for YA is pretty mellow. It's an easy, predictable read.

I was expecting so much more from it... Waiting for something to happen.
It never happened.

Awful book. So slow moving and boring. The dialogue was meaningless and endless. Boring.
