This book is about when Jasmine went out on a cold snowy day to play outside. The caretaker saw her and grabbed her to take her to the nurse because her nose was nearly frozen. If you want to know what happens next read more. This book reminds me of my childhood because I remember I would play in the snow all the time and always get in trouble because I would wet my thin gloves. I love Robert Munsch’s books they are very interesting and amusing. The illustrations are very nice and neat. I love this book a lot and for that reason, I think you should borrow this book as soon as possible! Rating 3/5.

I'll freely admit that I love a lot of Robert Munsch's books. This one has nice sing-song-y bits at the end of each of the first half dozen pages (and again at the end). The premise is that of a child who braves the snow to get to school for pizza day. She gets completely buried and has to be rescued by the caretaker - then the school staff try to thaw her out. As with many Munsch books, it's completely unrealistic but charming. My three year old loved it and I would happily read it again.
